  1. Hello my name is Scott Carlini, Chicagoland's community tree historian and Tree Keeper arborist. Thankfully our regions second oldest Ash tree that I have been patriotically protecting against EAB, is two blocks east of Berwyn border in Cicero. All I can say about the things I am witnessing happening to your communities once beautiful tree collection, is causing mortal wounding that will inevitably promote future public safety issues in 20 years when these limbs rot out. I am at your service, as I am also one of our regions leading experts on this Lambing up method destroying trees.PS: Berwyn has needlessly lost their collection of long lived heritage American Ash trees when only 90-140 old teenagers.

  2. Hello Scott,
I have received very little traffic on this blog spot until recently, so I apologize for not catching your message until now. We have a local election coming up and hope to usurp the current administration to stop this tree mutilation.
    Thanks for the post!

  3. Hmmm - this reminds me to go check my mulberry tree.... by BIL "pruned" it for me a few weeks ago. He took off ALL the low, side branhes and left the skyward pointing ones! I've since gone back and repruned it but I wonder if I was too late this season (got to get in earlier here in Qld, less Spring come too soon).
